Jerry Stark defeated Jim Butts in the final match 2 games to 1.  The match scores were Butts +26TP, Stark +15, +10. Stark won $3000 for the championship.

This year nine players competed, since the World Croquet Championship was being played at the same time. The tournament was very competitive, with players competing in a double round-robin.
