Two North American Open competitors faced each other in the finals of the USCA Nationals at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Brian Cumming defeated Ben Rothman 2-1 in the final match. Read all about it at www.croquetworld.com.  

Johnny Mitchell has withdrawn from the tournament, leaving a block of sixteen players. There will now be a final match and a match for third. Erv Peterson withdrew from the North American Open. Erv teaches at Sonoma State and the middle of May is a busy time for him. Ron Hendry of the MIssion Hills Croquet Club will replace Erv.

We are now planning for a full seventeen-player block with no final. Therefore, the final order of the block will determine the finish, with wins counting first, followed by net points. Ties will be broken by head-to-head results. For three-way or greater ties, gross points will be the tie breaker.
